In November 2020 we had the most beautiful destination wedding, full of love and laughter in Cancun, Mexico. While we were there, we were absolutely blown away by the amount of safety precautions that our resort and various communities around Cancun were taking. Stay tuned for that post!
Travel restrictions has changed since November and here's what you need to know:
Updated International Travel Checklist (arriving via Air):
1. Mandatory “Risk factor identification Questionnaire”
Travelers must complete the on-line questionnaire before arriving into Mexico. The questionnaire will need to be filled out again prior to their departing Mexico (before going through security).

After you complete the online questionnaire it will provide you with a QR Code to scan in once you arrive into Mexico. Screenshot the QR Code!
2. Temperature Check
Travelers arriving into Mexico will have their temperature checked (I’m not sure if this is at all airports but when I flew into Cancun in November 2020 this was implemented).
3. VACATION RESORTS COVID-19 PLAN
To meet the U.S. and Canadian testing requirements implemented in January 2021, many resorts are now offering on-site Covid-19 testing (meeting requirements for both the U.S. and Canada) and have a quarantine plan in place (for those who may test positive).
